More Mt. A pictures

I thought I'd post a few more pictures of the Mt. A campus from today.

1) Convocation Hall
2) Owens Art Gallery
3) Bennett House (My residence 1st year - very "Animal House"-like)
4) Thornton House (My residence 2-4th year - a more refined "Animal House")
5) Middle of campus - in front of the Fine Arts building - facing the chapel & Admin buildings.

Oh Ye of Little Faith

I went up to Sackville today for Mt. A's homecoming came against St. F X. I'll be the first to admit it - my hopes were not high. X beat Acadia last week - who had already beat Mt. A in week one. So... maybe it was the home field... the "well lubricated" friendly home-team crowd... or perhaps it was the streaker who ran the entire length of the field just before half-time (picture enclosed - I'm posting only the "PG" version). But in the end, Mt. A won 25-13. Don't purchase your play-off tickets yet, but they actually looked pretty good. I think Mt. A took 6 facemask penalties - over 200 yrds in penalties in total - way more than X's total offense. If they could have played a little more disciplined, the score would have been pretty lopsided.

I also took a few pics of the campus - pretty much the same - but some renovation work done in the last 20 years. The "Swan Pond" is still as pretty as ever.

More Atlanta Pictures

A few more pictures from our trip to Atlanta - some shopping/eating - MLK museum - Fernbank Museum - a hike up Stone Mountain with our friends the Lipseys - an all-day concert at the Georgia Horse Park (where they held the Olympic equestrian events). It was all great fun.
